How I Work

Whenever I work with a client, whether it’s on a longer programme or through a one-off seminar or taster workshop, there are certain principles that I always follow:

I will always meet you ‘where you are’

Every programme or workshop is bespoke; tailored to you.

I invite you to listen to your body

Some things are right for you and you alone. I encourage you to deepen your intuition.

I invite you to be curious and to make new choices.

I want to help you understand existing imbalances and potential risks to your health. Together we decide a course of action that will increase your vitality and resilience.

So what is the best way for you to benefit from my approach?

I invite you to learn more about my programmes and offerings.

How I arrived at this place

IT HAS BEEN QUITE A JOURNEY

After a childhood where major surgery to my digestive tract was required, I quickly developed a curiosity about the modern principles of nutrition. I went on to qualify in Nutritional Therapy and Using Food as Medicine.

As a Conference Interpreter and interpreter trainer who’s worked internationally for many years, I have witnessed first-hand how extreme stress can dramatically impair both the performance and wellbeing of my colleagues.

It became clear to me that, for all the extensive training that interpreters receive, the most fundamental piece of training was missing. I saw a pivotal unasked and unanswered question.

“How can I stay calm and energised in the most stressful and challenging situations?”

I saw the scope to make a real difference to my colleagues, using the various areas of expertise I had gathered. (See my ‘Credentials snapshot‘ above). That is what prompted a series of interactive talks at conferences around the world.

One way I have termed this is ‘resilience in the digital age’. I believe there has never been a greater need for such holistic education and interventions – both in the workplace and elsewhere in our communities.

‘Resilience in the digital age’ is one of my offerings.  Learn more HERE.

I found Gabriela to be extremely thorough and careful in her assessment.  She is very knowledgeable about the body, explaining what is happening and what cause and effect a movement has on the body.
